Rachel’s Kids Garden Party & Charity Auction 2024
Thank you to all who contributed to the magic of our annual Rachel’s Kids Garden Party and Auction, held on Saturday, July 15th at Devcore . We couldn’t have had a more perfect day…the weather, the venue, the food, and most importantly, each of you who joined us.
The generosity of our guests was truly overwhelming and we were able to raise a great deal of money to help offset the costs of our newest project, the Park of Hope, and our ongoing programs both locally and globally. The children and families that we are able to help are truly grateful as are all of us on the Board of Rachel’s Kids.

Ribbon cutting ceremony for Park of Hope held on July 27th
Rachel’s Kids hosted a preview event at the Park of Hope on July 27th for all Phase 1 sponsors and contributors. Although the Park was not yet fully completed, they could not hold off showcasing the progress made to date. The day was a resounding success with remarks from Rachel’s Kids founder, Dr. Rachel Navaneelan, His Worship Cornwall Mayor Justin Towndale, Honourable MPP Nolan Quinn, MP Eric Duncan and several grateful families. Delicious wood oven pizza from Fraser Creek Farms and yummy ice cream from Séguin Patates were enjoyed by all.
The Board of Directors very excitedly guided the guests on a tour of the Park and explained about the unique features that make it the one and only fully accessible and inclusive park within 100km of the City of Cornwall.
Day by day, Rachel’s Kids ambitious dream of creating a fun, safe, and welcoming play space for all ages and abilities is becoming a reality and they can’t wait to share it all with you before the end of summer.
